Comparing 2 cards

Hey guys, Just wondering what anyone thinks is the better card here as I can get them for roughly the same price after MIR for one of them:

Sapphire ATI RADEON HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 Dual Dual-Link DVI HD Audio Shader Model 4.1 320 Unified Shaders PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card (Lite Retail)

Galaxy GeForce 8800GT Chipset (600Mhz) 512MB DDR3 (1800Mhz) Dual Dual-Link Display PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card

And if you wouldn't mind a short blurb why you chose it, so next time I might not have to ask :)

Edit: its going to be for gaming btw
 
From the reviews I've read it seems like you should either go with a 8800GT or 3870. The 3850 is great, but it's mainly there to take the marketplace of the 8600 series.
 
Hmm thanks. I think I will stick with the 8800GT as I was originally planning on an AM2 MoBo and it's a bit cheaper than the 3870 after the MIR on it.
