Hi all,
I have been tasked with comparing two large, unrelated Word files, and merging the two, where they are different.
I have two Word documents containing quotations, short poems, etc... One of the documents is about 70 pages, the other is about 100. The 70 page document is the master. I need to compare it to the 100 page document -- anything that isn't already in the master file needs to be added.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I might tackle this problem?
The files are not from the same source document, so I don't THINK Compare Documents within Microsoft Word would do the trick (I tried, and it didn't seem like it would).
I would greatly appreciate any help. I really don't want to have to Ctrl+F 100 pages of quotes, searching for duplicates. That would take an eternity.
