i am wanting as good a quality as possible under $1000.00.
mostly just internet browsing. ( Dial-Up,hopefully soon can get DSL in my area. ) ATV sites with pics and picture storage from 7.1 digital camera. also want to make videos from ATV rides and put songs on them. and some lite gaming. but if i get it good enough i want to get into gaming.
also want a good quality/low cost 19" flat screen ?
is this power supply overkill ?
good choice in processor ?

any suggestions on upgrades ?
any optional software recommedations for a small business ?

Thanks
Greg

intel sucks for gaming, video card isnt that good, need at least a gig of ram if you want to get into gaming.

You need better RAM, as it's value select, meaning that while it may be Corsair, it's crappy RAM put out for people who desperately need RAM. Sucky RAM = Crappy Performance. The CPU is good, a 3200+ should be able to handle just about anything. For a video card, I'd get a 6600 or 6800, based on your set-up so far.

what ram should i look at ?

can you be specific about the number for the vid card ?

i got most my info from Specs 101 me being new to all this.

ValueSelect is fine if you're on a tight budget. At stock speeds, according to Corsair, the percentage difference with CL2 RAM is, "in the low single digits". For video card suggestions, take a look at Video Card 101. The 6800GS is a great card if your budget will stretch, though.
