Compatibility

So I know how Crossfire is for AMD mobos and SLI is for Intel mobos, but what about video card vs. chipset? My computer specs are in my sig. My family recently bought an AMD Tri-Core computer with an ATi 3200 chipset. Would I be able to give my card to them? Would it be compatible? It's easy on my computer, I have the NVidia 6150SE Chipset

Yes a single Nvidia card will work just fine on a ATI chipset. But AMD boards have Crossfire and SLI. AMD/ATI and Nvidia make make chipsets for AMD boards.
