Unfortunately the "
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

message keeps coming up with the link you posted. But the answer is simple. When looking over the make and model there simply click on the specification column to see the fastest memory supported. If it says DDR2 677 or 800 you shouldn't have any problem. If it shows DDR2 533? oops! You will have to go with a different one that does.

Memory Standard document.write(neg_specification_newline('DDR2 800'));DDR2 800 shows it should.

YAY!!!!!!
im getting a Gigabyte GA-965P-S3! be cause my old mobo shit itself out.......

PS- ur using internet explorer? ewwww.......

Most boards that show DDR2 800 also run the slower 667mhz memory without problem. You always look over the specifications and get to know those well for any board you decide on since that will have a direct effect on all other hardwares like memory and cpu to start off with. With the board there you can later upgrade to DDR2 800 and a faster cpu.

If the board doesn't specify a range for timings like 5-5-5-12 or 4-4-4- whatever it should easily run the standard memory you are planning at that speed. You wouldn't be able to run 533mhz since that board shows only two fsbs not the three for the slower memory. The 667 will see 800mhz while DDR2 800 would take advantage of the faster 1,066mhz fsb speed.
