Compatible components?

Hi,

I am going to do my first computer project, building a gaming computer.
I have decided to build instead of buy because its a lot cheaper!

Anyway as I am not too confident in knowing how to build and what goes where and what works together I would like to know whether this is a good gaming setup. (feel free to suggest too :))

My parts:

CPU- Intel core i5 4670K Quad core CPU Socket 1150 3.40 Ghz

MOTHERBOARD- Asus H81M PLUS

RAM- 8GB 1600mhz DDR3 crucial ballistix sport RAM/ Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP

DVD drive- LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x SATA Half Height Internal DVDRW Drive

Hard drive- 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 3.5-inch SATA III (6Gbps) Desktop hard drive (7200rpm, 64MB cache)

PSU- Corsair Builder Series CX 430 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit

Case
- Zalman Z9 Plus Midi Tower Case - Black (ATX, M-ATX, 7 Expansion Slots, Supports Bottom PSU Installation, Upto 7 System Fans, Tool Free HDD Installation)

EDIT:

GPU- GIGABYTE NVIDIA GTX 750Ti 2GB PCI-E Graphics Card

Not overclocking I don't think.
What is the difference with mobile?

Any suggestions appreciated

Get i5 4690 if u are not overclock.

Or get Z97 mobo with i5 4690k.

Where is your gpu?

If u go8ng to overclock get cx500

No need for a bigger PSU with that system, as it currently stand it'll pull around 150W from the wall. No overclock on that system will max out the 32A on the 12V rail. Only get the bigger PSU if you plan on getting a much more powerful GPU.

What resolution you playing at?

You have Windows?

Playing at 1920x 1080.

Windows 8.

And how well would those specs to do at gaming?
Thanks :D

Just had a thought

Current desktop atm has a intel i3 3240 3.4ghz, 6gb ram etc but sadly intel hd 2500.
Would it be a lot easier to just upgrade the integrated graphics to a dedicated Nvidia gtx 750ti/ a gpu under £100 or thereabouts?

I don't see the point getting i5 4670k if u already have i3.
Getting gtx 750ti for ur existing machine should be fine.

Yeah saves me a lot of money

How would I go about adding the graphics card?
The tower (my current desktop) is quite small- I don't know whether it would fit a dedicated GPU.

Will update when I find what model it is:
EDIT: Its a Lenovo H520 (UPDATE: May be a h520s? Some websites the hardware i have in mine is advertised as a h520s but in others it is not?!

It seems that since the case is quite small i will need a low profile gpu?
I am guessing that i will not be able to use the 750ti then..

So an update:

What kind of GPU would be good?

Needs to be:

-Low profile
-fairly cheap
-good performance
-compatible with h520 motherboard (will update the model if i find out)
-preferably not draw too much power so i do not need a new psu
