Compatible Motherboard

I'm busy pulling together parts for a new computer and once again the motherboard is not helping. To be honest, I know NOTHING about motherboards.. So please can you help guide/direct/suggest me on the right path to choosing one. The computer will be used for mostly gaming, pictures, essay writing etc..

The motherboard should prefereablly have:

3x PCI-E slots (2 for SLI and one for soundcard. If possible big enough for two GTX 295's)
Intel i7 support
DDR3 RAM support (Looking to put quite alot in. Not too sure but something along the lines of 6 slots?)
4 HDD Serial ATA ports (Can be less if need be)


I think thats all you need to know? If I've left something out please tell me and I'll update it.

I was searching and I found this motherboard which looks quite good. Any comments?

the mobo looks fine. hah, I looked at the price, lol, way more then the average computer here...

True everything here is way more expensive. That board costs about 350$ and its not even the best. A full good computer is altogether $3000. Do you think there is a better board than that one for what I'm looking for?
