Compatible Parts??

hey guys

im jus wonderin if these parts wud be compatible..
wud the MoBo run/support the RAM & CPU...
& also is the RAM a good brand & good perfomance wise??

Intel Pentium 4 3.2G-E (800Mhz FSB) Prescott
Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000
GeiL High Performance 512M DDR400

also im using two of the GieL RAM so wud the mobo support dual channel with that type of RAM??

probably. fit them together and see. :) also do a benchmark, so we can see if it was a good choice in terms of brand and performance.

ram - i dont see why not, giel are a good brand.
 
It will support PRESCOTT and DUAL channel(PRO-G or G series) MOBO has 865G and 865PE respectivelly, so youll be fine. :cool:
 
he didnt mention which 1000 series, the mobo hes reffering to uses 865pe, but which one?

It doesn't really matter they are the essentially the same. The only differences are some of the 'additional features' which too me look like a simple bios flash
