complete security!!

specs to my system in sig. ive been using kaspersky suite since i built this system and now my key has expired. i dont have the money to renew it so im gonna unistall it and im looking to go completly free. what are some good software i can put on my pc to protect it??

I use zonealarm firewall. it has a free version that is great. As for antivirus, the most common freeware AV are AVG and avast.

Anti Virus: I recommend AntiVir
Firewall: I recommend Comodo
Anti Malware On Demand Scanner: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Anti Spyware: Spybot Search & Destroy
Anti Keylogger: Key Scrambler
Anti Hacker: Peer Guardian.

That's probably as protected as your going to get, good luck.

thanks. i just downloaded all but the scrambler and the peer guardian. i never really heard of using a keylogger or an anti hacker. should i put those 2 programs on my system?

Key scrambler is anti key logger by encrypting the keystrokes, so even if you're infected by a key logger all it gets is encrypted keystrokes so by the time anything happens someone on this forum would be able to help you get rid of it.

It's not really anti-hacker just made up the name. But peer guardian is useful, as there are thousands (?) of bots out there looking for open ports and it's just for extra protection when downloading and such as when you download more bots get attracted to your computer. So even if your firewall misses something this should catch it.
