Components for £300 max, Please Help!

Right, Im on work experience right now and My teacher has asked me to spec him up a system for £300.

What I need to buy for him is
1) Power Supply 400W Prefferably
2) CPU (AMD or Intel) (Prefferably Dual Core)
3) Mobo (Doesn't need SATA or PCI-E) Needs Onboard Graphics. (Need one ATX and one Micro-ATX (not sure the case size)
4) RAM 512MB -1GB (need a couple of specs with no ram and a couple with ram included)

All stuff needs to be from www.misco.co.uk

This system will mainly be used for Coursework, No gaming or anything like that, So I was thinking Intel and AMD are both ideal for this system, My teacher doesn't mind what make.

I have specced up a few systems of my own, Just wanted to see if you guys could do any better.:)

There are no specs, He just wants brand new stuff to put in the system, some kids fried the old system and he needs new components for it, I am unaware Of what the old system was.

He just said he would Prefer Dual core and at least 512MB ram.
 
 
2nd build is more supperior even if it doesn't have 1 gig oif ram. Which you could actually fit in there. I think your totals are off though. Please post right ones.

Lol, I didn't check them, they where the totals when I summed it up at school but Im not quite sure if I wrote down all the same stuff and haven't rechecked the totals:P
