ok heres whats happened.
Cpu- opening boxing on carpet, peeked in closed it.
ram- in a computer table cabinet, in open box foam peanuts and wrapped in bubble wrap.
hdd- came in a box with foam penuts, wrapped in bubble wrap. boxe remains open, exposure to carpet and cats.
video card- currently being used in this computer.
case- lying on carpet exposure to cats and carpet.
mobo- being shipped.
burner- currently being used.

now all the parts *excluding videocard, mobo and burner*. Are in a plastic chest, on carpet. locked up.

Is everything safe?

thanks

also, what should i keep in mind, while building.
i got an anti static strap. but what can i touch with it on.

thanks

Well keep in mend not to eat or drink any thing while building... And you can touch your case to help ground yourself. :)

well.
No components were never literally touching the carpet.
just in the box, like cpu i opened the box, didnt take out of packaging, ram wrapped, and open box, same thing with the hdd.
Its just the only thing iam worried about is frying any parts.
I dont know how easy or hard it is, cause frying something involves re buying it.
