CompUSA going down in my area :)

Goin their today.....hoping for some great deals! maybe i can get some decent speakers for my room......or maybe i can get a mobo/cpu/ram/case/psu for not too much.

hoping pentium d for under 60, ram around 60, mobo around 50 case psu around 20 and case around 20......altogether 210......
 
and guess what! nothing good there.

everything was overpriced with the discount........come to think about it i think they raised their prices and then just said whatever percent off.......

i mean if they don't sell all of their stuff then they could just sell it to another compusa and it wouldn't matter.
 
Was there today. Things are up to 50% off, HD's are like 35% off, but nothing but overpriced crap left.

I got a zalman cpu cooler at 50% off though, also a bunch of 80mm fan grills for 50% off, and a couple HDD coolers for 50% off.

Cases are gone, they went to 50% off, and i missed it, it was about a week ago :mad:
 
I thought only the KS city store was closing. I'm kind of hoping the store here in VA will be closing soon so I can get some deals.

The past week they were up to 90% off.

I bought...
Vista Home Basic OEM - $50 *The upgrade was $30*
Zboard Battlefield 2142 Limited Edition.
Phone Holster.
A program to run with vista.
A zune docking remote.

And some other stuff.

And today, while walking by, this sign was posted outside the store...

I went back there later, with my camera to get a better picture, and it was taken down.

i went last weekend and got a 500mhz pentium II computer for $25 with a free monitor, keyboard, and mouse, which i plan on using as a media center rig

already intalled xp on it, just waiting till i find a good deal on a remote for it, and a video card with tv out for cheap
