CompUSA to close

They closed all of the Phoenix Arizona stores a few months ago, there was 1 left in the state, but it was a 100 miles away.

Compusa blew it when they started selling t.v's and such. They should have just stuck to what they were good at, selling computers and parts.

I never bought any computer parts from them, but I would go there to buy cd's dvd's and all of my peripherals. Their parts were to expensive. It's cheaper to go to Fry's.

Mostly I buy from Newegg or for cd's and such, Meritline.com.
 
wow. never expected to see compusa closing. hmm...will have to go and check out some of their sales.
although the only thing i've ever been interested in at compusa was either the pc chairs or cds/dvds when on sale. everything else is cheaper online.

only went there once, like a half hour drive away. Got a nice deal on a camcorder, but usually the ads show not so hot prices.

They closed one down a while back by where i live. They did have closeouts but I missed out.
 
both stores are closing here. earlier this week i was wondering how come the store pickup option is non existant. our company has an corporate account there and now we may have to set one up at best buy or circuit city.

more compusa stores are closing I thought most of them closed awhile ago
 
Well, I've never bought anything from them but I have gone there like 10 times. Theres one like an hour away from my house. I never bought anything because I met Newegg :D I bought my 7600GT on newegg for $150 and CompUSA had it for $250 :o so I guess they closed because they weren't making enough profit.

I'll be around though see, if I can go get some deals :)
