you know those channels where they are selling computers and offers split payments and stuff they're showing off HYPER THREADING they're puting out a computer with 512mb and they manage to open like 15 windows of programs and videos like some internet explorer sites and then some dvd movies playing on media player basically showing the power of the computer with 512mb but you never know if they stuck in another 512mb cuz u dont see any lags and all those windows and program i dont think 512 can handle since xp already took a good half of it. so if you have a p4 with a 3-3.2ghz and 512mb try do what they and and see if it lags :D

Haha thats definately a con man
There's not much CPU going around if they did do that and most of them wouldn't even be responding
Advertisement are nearly always cheats in my opinion

ROFL
Man, that guy was either really ignorant, or he was just doing what he was told to, meaning that the person who made the commericial was ignorant :)

Did they actually specify that that computer was running the processor/RAM that they're advertising? It might have been a better proc with either more RAM, faster RAM, or both. Any slight technicality will be exploited when you're dealing with advertising......*shudders*...ohhh how I hate advertising...

it was either shop@home or qvc or shobnbc. i dont remember but is always that prince william looking guy doing that ad. LOL

ads suck brick...there is an add in our newspaper saying brand new fully loaded computers running amd athlonxp...and get a free cd burner for $50000...thats $250USD...
but being the kind of person that i am i called the place as they gave no address and the lady on the phone said that the add was correct...
trick in it all was that you got the case, the cd burner, an athlon chip(when asked about the athlonxp they said it meant that you had to buy windowsXP for the system)

but i had to expect that since my rule was never purchase a PC in guyana

That wouldn;t make him ignorant, he prabally did that on purpose to con you into thinking thats how it would be, which is a rip-off but its not ignorant....

I have a celeron cpu 3gig and 512 of ram and I can run alot of programs with out any lag so I would say its not to impossible, and im talking alot of memory hog apps like photo shop and limewire and burning a cd all at the same time. I have fast ram though!

Photoshop, unless your consetly using it doing huge stuff isn;lt a memory hogger, and not limewire either, no matter what...
