My friend bought a sets of desktop computer with the rig of (C2D 1.86Ghz,Intel motherboard (*not so sure about the model),2gb memory ,MSI Geforce 8600GT256MB.The computer would auto restart when playing certain kinds of games.Which parts of the abovementioned be the most possible source of the problem ? By the way, the machine was conducted by the low quality PSU which is bundled with the casing, would that be a problem too ?
I,m not so sure about the real condition, it was a roughly decipherable by my friend, but I hope so to gain some view of you guys about the initial troubleshooting for the trouble.

I was thinking "It's probably the PSU" even before I got to where you said that it was using the low quality PSU.

PSUs that come with cases are generally very low quality, and not worth using at all. They tend to fail withing a couple of months, and sometimes even fry computers when they go.

I would say look into the P/s too, Drivers or heat will usually make one freeze up. If its restarting I would say its the power supply.

Update the Drivers and be more detailed, like does blue screen pop up or something?
I think so, there might be some driver conflict occurred between the ATI (Integrated chipset) and Nvidia (Display card).Since both of them had been install.Blue screen ? Isn't that it is null for the Windows XP ?By the ways, thanks for the precious opinion from you guys. The machine is still under warranty , let see what it could be deal by the technicians .
