What Brand Would You Choose?

Id like to add on to that message I posted about the build qualities, I meant on Budget Manufacture PCs, not custom builds or manufacturer gaming PCs.
 
DELL? Oh no here we go again! DELL shouldnt even be considered a pc! It's more of a waste of money and time and the only good use might be a paper weight!!

No, here YOU go again. Dell is a perfectly fine brand, ignoring the price and where they get their parts from. You'll find more Compaq's/HP's on the side of the road than a Dell. Heck, of the 10 or so computers I've trash picked, 3 or so of them were Compaq/HP. Dell? Not a single one.
 
Would you like to start a poll about dell's? A little friendly competition? I'll start one as long as you agree to it! Dont you wanna see who likes dells and who doesnt?
 
Why do you guys keep talking to this half-brained child? You won't convince him otherwise. He ignores everybody else's experience with Dell, and thinks his experience is the only one that matters.

Dell is good for the basic PC user that does not know the inner workings of a computer.

I find that HP and Compaq suck more than Dell. At least Dell provides FREE phone support even after the warranty is expired.

Just about everyone except you the people in the desktop section! Alright so im setting up a poll and im going to request a bunch of people from other sections to support the poll!! Is this okay with you guys??

Couldn't have agreed more. Compaq? I had to send my laptop in 6 times before they found that dead CPU fan (which I found before the first time I sent it in :rolleyes:)

Anyways, go ask any company that uses servers. I know a guy who said that he had more HP/Compaq's breakdown then Dells (servers).

And he used to work at Dell. He was the guy who helped the computers burn-in. He said they put them in a heated room for 24hrs.
 
hp is a great company, except their customer service sucks, my grandma was on the phone for an hour trying to get her laptop battery replaced(yes my grandma has a laptop)

Of course the pros are not gonna choose Dell! That wasn't really smart. Dell is perfect for people who you call "children". People who as voyager said, don't know the inner parts of a computer.

Lol @ g25racer. Seriously, are you 10? Tell me the truth, I'm actually quite curious to see if your age matches your maturity level.

I chose Acer and HP. Mainly cause I've owned an HP, it worked awesome for 3 years with no problems whatsoever. I currently own an Acer, had it for a couple months now, no problems so far. If Dell was on the list I'd chose it too.(for laptops at least)
 
i like hp, i have an acer,(both laptops) and i love custom built by us :D *my desktop ofcourse*

oh and i think racer is a dell fanboy
