Computer Build for my Fiancee

My girlfriend is interested in a new computer to do strictly photoshop CS3, microsoft office on and internet. She doesnt have a huge budget to spend, lets say $500 without a monitor or peripherals.

CAN YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN?? :D
 
just make sure you get her one of these

$500 to run photoshop CS3?


I just sold my used G4 MDD dual 1.25Ghz 2gigs of RAM for $400 that would have been perfect for that. I don't think you will build a decent PC that will run photoshop for that amount of money.

Hmm... She does want a macbook. I've been eyeballing them on the columbus craigslist market for a little while now. Maybe we will just go that route

cohen-he's got a small budget
ninja-that looked like a scam, there's tons of apple scams on craigslist from "people from the uk and what not"

you're better off with a budget build, maybe compensate your low budget with lots of ram. its the cheapest way to get really good performance
 
Jhow, I wasnt looking at the one mentioned in particular, but there are some other ones on there that seem fairly legitimate.
