Computer build parts list (advice please)

I agree with you, I would get a 7950. For the performance/power is really a pretty good card. But now you got to be alittle more honest about the performance of two 6950 in CF. They will beat a GTX 580 in 95% of games and alot by a big margin.

Yeah may be but forever more you are at the mercy of ATi's woeful CF support. I mean 30FPS in Skyrim with CF 6950 is poor.

If you read further down the guy is also having issues with bf3 and can't uninstall his drivers, and has tried before, so that issue you are talking about may be his problem, not AMD's. Although that's not to say they don't have issues, i know all that, just pointing that little bit out.

Also from a release note i read for the 7950's, they were saying it just had one block of the shaders, and a few other parts, locked down, which makes me think these could be unlockable cards, true or not?

Two cards made today. I was just saying man, anyone's needs could change. The only deciding factor would normally be money spent. $219.99; I can see where someone could cringe at that. It only hurts for a second, unless you couldn't afford rent.

Sorry to confuse you, This is not the site to talk about CPU's over $300 as only a hand full of people are willing to pay that kind of cash, also if they did they would't understand why you would buy 2 $1000+ cpu's. I was just saying its not the storm sniper is big but its not huge. The Classified is a very awesome board, but I would not buy it just to play games. 4 GPU's would set you back quite a way and that would be the only reason to buy the MOBO. Another thing is your coming from a athlon CPU. There is no reason to upgrade that high if you were interested in performance you would have upgraded years ago.

Amazing to see someone whos been here for a month telling us "what this site is about". Loads of guys here have spent thousands on their machines and as such wish to discuss it.

I understand what your saying. I have run and built quite a few of SLI and CF systems. I really have had no more problems out of one then the other. Any problem you can find with CF I can find some kind of problem with SLI.

Common man the only CPU's talked about has been i5 2500k, and it is a good CPU, rairly spoken about is the Intel Core i7-3930K. I was not talking about a CPU as in a whole system inside the tower. I apologize for offending you.
