Computer Build problems [Newbie]

My build had a problem would not post no beep or picture. The MB was asus what I found had to turn on the computer and hear the post beep than turn on the display. I now do in that order and works every time.

I really don't have an actual price limit.

I want to keep it roughly around what I paid for my current one, maybe a bit higher. Don't want to over do it though and go crazy over. Would like to keep it around the same price though.
