MOBO: ASUS P5W DH
RAM: G.Skill 2GB
GPU: Sapphire X1900XT
HDD: 2 of these in RAID 0 (600GB)
PSU: Silverstone 560W
Monitor: Acer 19" WS 5ms

Total: $1700.00

I need to pick out a case AND lower the price of this build by a couple hundred.

-Also have any of you used a similar mobo/CPU combo?

One way to save some money that some people dont really think about is shipping. If you order all your parts from the same website it will end up saving you a few dollars. also look how much the sites charge you for shipping. For example figure out what you want, and see how much shipping they entire list would be for different websites. It not always worth it to buy a part from one website because it is on sale or cheaper from there because thats an extra shipping cost.
