I am going to build a desktop computer for the first time.

What case should i get?I am wanting to spend around $80 tops on a case or less.
What will the next thing be?

Power supply or motherboard first?

What are some good motherboards?

Would like to spend $100 on a motherboard.

I read that the fan is pretty lound in the tower so what is a good 80mm fan under $10.00 and also what is a good motherboard for the tower.

Make that hard drive a Seagate. Seagates are proven to be reliable and I am a fond believer in Seagate. In my PC collection, I have a 16-year-old Seagate still running! Maxtor is manufactured by Seagate. I wouldn't buy anything else.
