Hey, so this is my first computer build. I got some parts together but I didn't know what rams to get but I would want 4gb of ram. Also I don't need an Os nor a Disc Drive. My budget is around 500-800usd. Any suggestions on other parts, where to get the lower price, and stuff that I'm missing. Thanks and heres what I got together.

Right... everything is good except your motherboard and GPU. If you want to add extra $80 for your processor and have a better, faster one change to Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

Best Buy does not carry that unit. Are you looking to purchase locally or online through Best Buy?

Sites like Newegg are going to have a much larger selection.

Fry's isn't bad either. They may have a better selection then Best Buy since you want to stick with a local purchase.

I did not know that they were the same price and I know this must be a newbie question but what's so special about the i7?
