Few problems is I hear the 8000 series cards are power beasts will that PSU be able to handle it?
Also I can't seem to come up with a decent mother board since this is my first build.
To give you a idea I am a heavy FPS freak and this set up is for the hopes of having the power to run Crysis on the medium-high settings if not higher.

Any ideas/problems lemme know. Anything that should be changed or edited to get more power outta the rig let me know.

Also I didn't forget my drive I just plan to gut the one out of my old E-machine T6528 since I hardly ever used it.

Thanks :)

Just a Suggestion.

Next time you post about a computer build, you would probably get a lot more replies in "Desktop Computers" Section :)

As for the build...

2 packs...Are you saying you're getting 4 Gigs of RAM?

Any particular reason you're getting an external HD?

my bad the ex-hd is for game back ups ment to post the one I updated.

Also I posted in the Desktop Computers and my post was deleted for a unknown reason so thought it was in the wrong place. If a mod sees this could he move it?

Also yes 2 packs 4gbs of ram.

I don't know a lot about PSU's, but I know that this PSU will probably work well with your build. It's a little bit more expensive than your previous. But worth it.

As for motherboards. Are you going to want SLI in the future? I have a few boards that you should consider...

Foxconn G9657MA-8EKRS2H LGA 775 Intel G965 Express Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

ASUS P5LD2 R2.0 LGA 775 Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Deleted? Heh. I guess the had a good reason then.

Yea I looked at him wrong :D

Also since its a 640mb card I doubt I will be SLI since the card is 400 bucks and I don't see buying a new one for quite a while :)

Looks pretty solid and plenty of people used the word "noob friendly" which is a big sell point for me at times :)

Also you sure the PSU you posted would be able to power this system?
