computer cant find dvdrw drive and system restore doest work

Unplug power and data cables to the drive and MoBo, then re-attach. Reset CMOS then load your Optimal Default settings in BIOS.

cyberpower people told me its reformatt time 2nd time in 6 months and system restore doesnt work dont ask me why

Wait a sec...your computer (system, BIOS) can't see the drive or your OS (Windows) can't see it?

try different cables with your DVDRW, if that doesn't work then replace the DVDRW.

does it show it in the bios??? If it just doesn't show it in windows try this-

It worked for me!(make a backup of the registry in case something goes wrong)

well last night i backed up everything and reformatted but i need a fix for system restore
