Computer can't read certain CD

Hi there. I've been trying to import a CD that I recently purchased to iTunes. It's not scratched or damaged, but every time I insert the disc, iTunes freezes. I've tried going to My Computer and opening the disc, but it's not showing up. Any suggestions on what to do?

There's a few things.. It could be that your disk drive is dying, or that you've placed the wrong media in it (could be a DVD only disk drive)...

Other factors could be the operating system, iTunes, copyright protection, or it could be the age/speed of your computer..

I can't put in to place an exact problem though.. Sorry..

Try using software like exact audio copy.

Some CD's also have copy protection which can be bypassed by opening and closing the tray during extraction
