No i would not recommend it either,Looks like it has poor airflow.

Look into getting an antec 300,Thats probably the best budget case your going to get these days.

It is up to you... If you want the case for looks or practicability or how well it is constructed, if it will accommodate all your hardware needs and so on.
Your money your choice.

It is a hell of alot smaller, so because of that cable management is worse, the layout makes airflow worse (whole front is sealed) and you won't be able to fit very big vide cards in there, as only low profile cards will fit and short cards will.

However, if he isn't going to be using a dedicated video card at any point, then it wouldn't be a bad idea because only a small power supply would be needed, so few wires, the system probably wouldn't be too powerful, so not creating much heat, and obviously, no video card makes the space issue no longer an issue.

There is also only room for 1 hard drive, so there isn't the option of having a storage drive or utilising RAID
