Computer Case

I am fairly good with computers and I have the parts I want, however I still need a case. Now i was told by someone that if i get a standard ATX full tower case it will fit with my motherboard. After looking at some cases and deciding which one I wanted I realized that the dimensions did not match up. The person said it was fine and would fit, but I decided to a second opinion.

(my favorite color is green)
Computer Case
dimensions - 23.6" x 9.1" x 21.7"

and the Motherboard
dimensions - 12.0" x 9.6"

as you can see I don't think that a motherboard that is 9.6" will fit in a case that is 9.1"

Hopefully that was enough info and thanks in advance

Your motherboard is 12.0" x 9.6". If you're only basing your question off of those dimensions, the equivalent dimensions of your case would be 23.6" x 21.7". As someone else said, that 9.1" number is the case's width. Unless you plan on installing some crazy ass tall cpu cooler or something, you should be more than fine. :)
