computer case?

Hi all, I have just installed a XFX GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card and a game x stream 850W power supply in my hp computer. However, the cords to the power supply are so large that I am having problems with ventilation and overheating so I need to get a new case but am not sure what would fit the bill. Can anybody suggest a super large case? Thanks

The problem is that HP motherboards will likely not fit in an after market case. HP has proprietary motherboards made that will only fit in their cases. In other words they are not standard ATX motherboards.

I have worked on a couple of HP's that were proprietary. My first computer was an HP and I had NO luck changing the motherboards for it. If they have changed their ways, then it's new to me.

"Edit" After doing a few minutes of research, I found conflicting reports on changing out HP mother boards for after market boards. Some say you can do it, but you might have to modify the case where the ports line up, some say it will work fine. But everyone says to replace the power supply.

Like I said before, I never had good luck changing out an HP mother board for an after market one. But it has been a few years since I tried.
