Computer cleaners?

I was looking at programs like Tuneup Utilities 2009 and Glary Utilities.
My question is are those programs good? Are they safe?
And what is the best free one?

ccleaner works well. free.... just set it up properly. or it will delete passwords and a few other things. also like regseeker. (i think hoverdesk. (org)). good for orphans.

I use CCleaner, Defraggler, and nTune. CCleaner about once a day, and I defrag 1-2 times a week. nTune is used more for performance tweaks (registry values, etc.)

Also, google 99 Vista Tweaks. I've used about half of them and I can't complain about my computer's performance anymore
