Computer constantly reboots

Everytime I turn on my computer it will reboot before it ever completely turns on. Before anything shows on the screen, it will reboot and keep doing it untill I just pull out the electrical plug. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Does it make any beeps? Or just an endless cycle of reboot no sounds or anything? can you hear your hardrive and Cpu?

It doesn't offer to load in safe mode or anything at boot? If it restarts in middle of the boot process, whatever the cause, it should do that, unless it's already made it to the login screen (or somewhere around there)...

Without knowing any other details, all I can really suggests is a combination of FIXBOOT&FIXMBR (tools available on the XP install disc, IDK if the equivalents in Vista/7 go by different names), or if that don't work, repair install.

Are you getting BSODs? Happened to me once, but BSODs are quick and disappear fast. So... I guess the question is, do you see a quick blue flash before the computer restarts itself?
