Computer crashes when RAM is 1600mhs

I built a new computer a while back and ever since, the RAM has been set at 1333mhz. The RAM is supposed to be able to run at 1600mhz, but the motherboard automatically sets it at a lower setting. How can I raise the speed without computer crashing every time. I don't know what timing to set it at if that's the problem.

My RAM: It's either...http://http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220410 or http://http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220481

Motherboard: Gigabyte-MA770T-UD3P

I fixed your links, you had an extra http:// on the start.

When you try to set the RAM to 1600MHz are you setting the voltage to 1.8v? It likely wont boot at 1.5.

I really don't know about the voltage. All I did was went to a setting and raised the frequency to 1600. would there be another option to raise the voltage or something?

I see what your talking about now. No, I didn't raise the voltage before, but I just did, and tried playing COD MW2 and computer crashed, so I just set bios back to auto. the RAM is supposed to be able to run at 1600 though.

You can try giving it a bit more voltage but it was adverstised at 1.8v for 1600MHz. So you can either try to exchange it for a new set or live with it at 1333. It's not going to be a huge difference for you but you probably paid a little extra for 1600.
