is this errror because of the memory full.

and i am looking in to buying a new memory drive (hard drive) i want the biggest one like 400 or 500gb or whatever is the biggest, do you just buy any make or does it have to be a certain one.

thanks for your help!!!!

Yeah, you can buy any brand, you just have to make sure that the interface matches your motherboard, either Serial ATA (SATA) or IDE. The largest that I've seen for a decent price are 350gb, but you could go bigger if you wanted to...
P.S. Do you know how full your hard drive is?

For the record, IDE drives, the normal standard ones, are now being referred to as PATA drives, it stands for Parallel ATA, as oppose to SATA, which is serial ATA.

By that error statement i wouldnt have said that the gard drive is full, uninstall unneeded programs and free up sdome space, it may be your RAM is faulty or something like that.

try not to confuse ur hard drive and ur memory. u referred to ur hard drive being full then said memory is full. there two seperate things.

u need to figure out what ur hdd controller interface is

if its over a year old its most likely PATA in that case just goto newegg or wherever and search for pata drives. itd be better for u to buy 2 250GBs over 1 500GB, for 1 if the drive fails ur SOL, two, the price.

Plus, 2 250GB drives will have faster seek times that 1 massive 500GB drive...
