Computer crashing when utilizing video card

Hey, Im having problems with my new computer (I built it) and I hoping these forums will help compared to other forums I am using. So the problem is that my computer will freeze when I play a game or watch a video fullscreen. Even playing HD videos in VLC will freeze up. Usually the sound loops when it freezes. I have two programs that can monitor my temperatures. Everest and PC Wizard. I ran a test to max out my cpu temperature and it gets up to 100C. I even monitor the temperature before it crashes and usually doesnt break 70C. My GPU temp is fine. Im pretty sure the drivers arent working.

Here are my specs:

Intel DP45SG Mobo
Duo 8500 CPU
4GB ddr3 G Skill RRAM
Radeon 4850 Graphics Card
750w Power Supply

Im running on vista 32 bit. I am pretty sure I have all drivers. Where do I start?

well, the 4850 is known for its high temperature. most would recommend you to download rivatuner and then change the fan speed higher. if that still does not help then i suppose you should bring your card back or something.
