computer doesn't boot

my friend's computer fell over one day and it stoppped working. He said that it would boot to the "boot from CD part" and then restart. When he tries to access his bios, the comptuer would reboot. Anyone have any ideas whats wrong?? Thanks

Maybe one of the cords or wires came loose?
Has he checked all of his cables?

yes, he told me he checked all the cables already.

Well if the computer was on when it fell over there might be quite serious damage.
