Computer Errors

I have been recieving numerous errors that close out my games, and internet browsers. It sometimes shuts my pc down as well, but not often at all. I'm wondering if there is something wrong, so if someone could check this over and tell me if it's all good or stuff is wrong, that would be great

Thanks much

The above items are listed as unknowns yet notice one is HiJack This? These would only be minor items at best. Have you looked over your cpu and board temps? The log here doesn't show anything malicious but doesn't rule out something being hidden on the drive. If you need something to check your system temps with SpeedFan is a good freeware. you can download that at http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

If you are not running any antispyware or antivirus programs here's a few freewares with good references. For the typical adwares AdAware SE Personal can be found at http://www.lavasoft.com

A great companion to AdAware is Ewido now owned by Grisoft. You can that free at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/ewido-anti-spyware-free/lng/us/tpl/v5

Ewido also has a free trojan scanner you can download from http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

While you are at Grisoft you can pick up their free version of AVG 7.5. The latest version is available at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

Between the above and Spybot Search & Destroy you should be in good shape. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

One of the top notch types of malware removers is know as Webroot's Spy Sweeper. The full retail version for about $30 is the one to go with not the trial. You can look this over at http://www.webroot.com/

Another thought along these lines would be possible memory faults. You could try a good run of Memtest or another diagnostic tool. The HT logs only examine any new startups and IE addons as a rule. A hidden hardware fault like memory or a bad cap in the supply would be another reason for the system to see a sudden shutdown.

On most boards now the overheat protection circuit or fan speed monitor will shutdown a system if something there is wrong. During gaming system resources are often pulled down when video and sound start drawing on the power from the supply. An unstable supply could be suspect. A look over of your system specs could help here. Windows own crash control would see a memory dump and a system restart but not a total shutdown.

Memory. I justed RMA'd my ram because that was messed up so I'm presuming that the new ram is fine because it's working much better than it was before. I got an error when I was loading in windows about memory but I don't know what else the memory would apply to. I'll add my specs in a little.

You can see memory errors where memtest will show numerous errors and it can be attributed to something else at times. It doesn't rule out getting a bad dimm or two even new out of the box. When the 2gb currently in use here was tested on the last board memtest pointed out some 573 errors. Memtest found "0%" when they were tried on the new board. What are you running for a power supply?

It must be a id10t error. J/king. I fogot to tell you to do another mem check even though it isn't likly, but you never know.

Enermax is one of the better makes for supplies. You also could be seeing Windows or driver problems along with the sudden shutdowns which can point to a sudden power drop or an overheating problem. Faulty memory can be one source of overheating as well as the cpu itself.

You wouldn't see high temps on the main chipset or a bios problem with many software temp monitors. A weak battery on the board can see problems until that becomes too weak and the system fails to start one day.
