So I just got a new hard drive [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...gate_Constellation_ES-_-22-148-609-_-Product] not two days ago, and I am already experiencing major difficulties. I installed a ripped version of Windows 7 ultimate, 86 bit, and at first everything ran smoother than it ever did on my Samsung drive. After two days, however, I started up my computer, and it could not load windows. It got as far as "starting windows" but the usual quad-colored windows 7 startup logo did not appear. I waited then restarted only to get windows repair. It thought about it for a while before deciding to boot from an earlier setup when things had been functioning. Started up again, didn't even get to "starting windows", merely shows a few seconds of a underscore blinking in the top-left corner before going black (not the screen showing black, the screen is showing nothing).
So I ask you this, does this seem like a hard drive problem, from such a well received hard drive and so early in it's use? Is it more likely that perhaps my computer is meant to run 64 bit rather than 86? Did windows somehow recognize the stolen quality of my OS? Please help, as there are several SC2 matches I'd like to play and plenty of Portal 2 I need to complete...
