we just went and bought a computer on a lease based payment, which will be paid over 48 months, at the end of the 48 months he will be given the choice of upgrade to a newer system for free! anyway here's the specs

Advent QC-6003
* Intel® Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor
* 2.33GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 4MB Cache
* Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium
* 6GB DDR2 memory
* 640GB SATA hard drive (7200rpm)
* Intel® GMA X4500HD graphics
* Dual Layer DVD Rewriter
* Built-in media card reader
* 6x USB ports (2x front, 4x rear)

+ 19" LG display (which the Manager gave us an offer on, because the screen that comes standard with it was having a lot of complaints and being sent back so he gave us the lg screen for £29!)

all together £529

good or what? :P

how much is the interest gonna cost after you calculate it up since it is a 48 month lease. im not sure how good of a price that is since im not to sure of the prices over there but the gpu isnt that great and the ram is strange, usually you want 4 or 8 gigs.

edit: my bad, i was thinking you had to pay interest but on leases but you dont.

on lease you dont technically own the goods till you pay it off, although that really wont matter lol coz ur using it so yh. But because he wanted to be cautious he is paying for the breakdown service and accidental repairs too which cost £8.99 a month :confused: lol he dont trust me to do that so yh.

still he gets a new comp in 4 years time haha so alls good, seeing as how goods like these depreciate in price alot over the years.

ps. on the gpu part, he wont be playing crysis while he's waiting for customers Haha =]
