Damn if i know. i come to the home page i don't see my name tremmor as logged in. it says log in. if i don't and just goto new posts it says welcome tremmor. when i go back to home page to view who's on line. my name is not there. always ask for pasword but i don't put it in and always says welcome tremmor.
any ideas........

its only on this computer. not the others.

thats what im using JohnB.

havent goto the link always like you mentioned. i can goto newposts without putting in password and says welcome tremmor. go back and same thing.

now when i click on new post it says welcome tremmor.

you have entered an invalid name or pw. you have used 2 of 5 loggin attempts. i have not logged in for at least 4 hrs. just click on new post and always welcom tremmor.
 
i tried that too. no good same thing. i just tried it. On the lighter side i have backups with mozbackup. i will do later.

I hope this isn't taken offensively, but I'm genuinely interested in the way you type. Is there any particular reason for this? My first guess is that you aren't from the United States, but it could be something else.

On any vB forum, I always have to delete the cookies for it before I log in, otherwise I get the problem tremmor is having. Make sure "Remember Me" is checked, it will help. And you can always just use www.computerforum.com/usercp.php, that will take you straight to the usercp if "Remember Me" was checked at the last login.
It's a glitch with vB, I'm positive, every vB forum I've been on does this.
