Computer freezes after closing internet explorer

Hi, my name is Ischa, i've got a problem and can't find it anywhere.. I would appriciate it if you helped me..
This is my problem:

When I start my computer everything works fine, my internet explorer can just be started and be surfed on, but when I want to exit it, it freezes, mostly when I watched a video what pops up after clicking a link.. So mostly pop ups, I recently downloaded a few skins for my winamp, I scanned my computer but couldnt find anything..

You mean internet explorer crashes when you try to watch a Video? I think its the codec's fault, it has happened to me as well, and whenever I open a folder with video and the thumbnails tries to display it crashes too. I just reinstalled windows when I got these errors.
 
No, I found out now that it's only when a pop up comes up, not only with video's, like when on MSN, if you got that, you want to check your mail, and then your mail browser pops up in internet explorer and when your finished and want to close it it freezes.
 
I did, but my MSN mail opened in internet explorer, but I deleted internet explorer now and when something now pops up and I close it, it doesn't freeze anymore..
