Computer freezes at log in screen.

I caught a bad virus about 3 days ago and i kept trying to get rid of it andit kept coming back :S Anyways today my computer was working fine then it froze so i shut it off. When i turned it back on it worked fine until i had to log in, if i click on shut off or type in my password it just freezes. Even on safe mode, it lets me in then it just shows a black page with safe mode written on each corner but it is completely frozen. What do i do?

Do you have an actual install cd to where you can repair your installation? Most likely you are still infected. It's possible to connect you hard drive up to a different computer that has a fully updated antivirus/malware program installed and scan your drive with it.
