Computer freezes loading up games or playing videos

When i go to play a game, sometimes it will lock up while loading and the mouse movements will pause for 5 seconds and then move, sometimes it will lock up and even sometimes completely show off and blue screen. If it happens i have to restart computer, if i keep ending the process and trying the game again it wont work til i restart.

Videos are the same sort of thing, though it hasn't shut off yet, video, sound and cursor freezes then comes back and about 10 seconds later it happens again..

It shouldn't be the drivers because i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling on nvidia.com before. I guess it could be mobo or cpu drivers or whatever but i don't know where to get them.. Specs of my PC are in my sig.

I'm really stumped with this, have no idea what it could be. Btw, i've tried loads of games and same things happened so it's not particular games or anything.

Anyone got any suggestions at all? I'm willing to try almost anything, really want it fixed :(

Btw, this has been going on since i first got my PC (4 weeks ago) so it's not a virus or anything like that.
 
Right Click my computer and select properties, Hardware Tab, Device manager.
Does anything have a red Exclamation mark next to it, or Yellow one?
 
It seems it was dying memory, can't be sure yet. I'll give it a week of playing games off and on, then i'll deffinately know it's been fixed.

Took one of my RAM sticks out and games are working properly atm :)
