computer freezes

I dont know what it is but sometimes my computer freezes. It varies, sometimes its couple times a day, and sometimes it can run couple of days without freezing. Once it freezes sometimes i can't get it back up because after a restart it freezes on bios screen, or while loading windows, or nothing appears on the screen but fans are spinning. I checked ram so thats not a problem. I have a pentium d which is known for running at high temps, once it heated up to about 105 degrees celsius ( about 220 fahrenheit ) but its never given me a blue screen. Right now i idle at about 50 degrees celsius ( about 120 fahrenheit ) and while under full load it heats up to 65 degrees ( about 165 fahrenheit ). Any ideas what could cause the freezes ?

in this case, and as i've already faced a problem like this before 3 things could be the source of your problem .

1-the ram .(check if the rams are working well, and try to clean up dust in dimm slot)
2-the psu .(it doesn't provide enough , so once your computer needs more it turns itself down)
3-the motherboard.( and that what was actually the source of my problem , and after i checked all the other sources and found that there was no problem with them ,i had simply to CHANGE IT ).

that's it.

im guessing here but since that cpu has seen temps of 105c and the problem sounds like an unstable OC then maybe the cpu is partially damaged and is now unreliable.
