I have a server that has a TYAN S2877 motherboard in it. It was purchased from a local company about a month ago. It was working well for 3 or 4 weeks, but last week, twice during the week, it froze up. The first time the monitor had gone to standby and I couldnt wake it. The second time, I was using the computer when it froze up. I took it back to the vendor, who ran a variety of hardware burn tests, but came up with no problems. It is running SUSE Linux 10.1. The entire week, code was being run on the machine, but since it passed the burn in tests I doubt that cpu overload would cause the freeze-up.
Help please!
Please let me know if I need to clarify or give more info. Thanks!
