Hello,

After that a computer frooze it doesn't properly boot anymore.
It does "go on" because you can hear the noises like it always does when booting. But the power button light doesn't turn on and the monitor stays black.

I tried several things:
Reboot again
Reseat the RAM memory
Reseat the CMOS
Removed dust(there wasn't any)

There were no beep sounds when I booted without the memory sticks connected. (MB faulty I guesss)
It gets very weird now. When I plugin the powercable into the wall, the computer starts by itself... But still with no lights and a black screen.
Maybe the Power Button is damaged...

This computer is very low-end:
Windows XP
X-Gear 400W
Biostar 945GC (That's the MB)
Seagate 80GB
Elixir 2x 512MB RAM
Processor Unknown because I can't check it anymore. Must be something of Intel

Thanks for the help,

Oekoeloe

You will only hear beeps if there is a system speaker attached to the speaker connection on the motherboard. Disconnect the hard drive from the system, power and data cable and see if the system turns on normally. If not, it does sound like it could be motherboard issue. I would also try a different power supply as well.

Thanks for your suggestion and I tried it.

I fixed it, tho, by removing the front panel with the power button, suddenly the reset button popped. Seems that it was stuck and making the computer not boot.
