I have a problem with my desktop pc. It has finally kicked the bucket and i have since upgraded and purchase a new laptop.
Unfortunately as the computer no longer boots up into windows (it just loops at the initial BIOS screens on power up) i have no access to the data that was on the main hard drive of the pc.
What would be the best way to get this data off an IDE internal HDD?
I am reasonably handy and would like to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible. I know i could take it somewhere but was going to look at that as a last resort.
The new laptop has a esata port if it is of any use?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
