Hello! I am new to this forum and I was really curious about learning more about what I have decided to go to school for. I am 21 years old and I recently changed my major to CIS. I've always had so much fun doing basic programming and "coding". I am very new to these topics and the languages associated with compiling and etc. so I was wondering if anyone could recommend books for me to read, videos to watch and also fun programming I can do on my own computer? How can I learn the basics of programming and also have the real experience too? I start class this Fall but I really want to start learning now. If you have any advice please share! Thank you!
