Computer Instant crash/Restart

It's started doing this a while back. It's apparently random but seems to happen most often when I'm playing a game in Yahoo messenger and close it, or try to play an MPG file on my TV through a Geforce Videocard.

The computer just goes black. There is no error message, just a black screen and "no signal" on my monitor. The computer restarts and flashes up error messages. Usually I restart afterwards to clear up any lingering errors but recently a new error message has appeared- the one to the right of the other two.

I think this thing is about due for a format and I have started backing up my files. Do any of you have any idea what those files in the error messages are or what they are for?

(I'll be right back with an attachment of the error messages- the filesize isn't even close to small enough so I'll have to host it on my own)

Edit: Here's a link to a Jpg containing the error messages

Well, it would appear that the third error is something to do with my sound output or something similar; it just started with this most recent crash and now I get noise when the computer starts, when people send IMs, but there is no sound when I try viewing something on the TV or listen to music.

Could it be a bad sound driver? I don't know how to determine which one is bad, or how to fix it. Man, formatting is such a PAIN...
