Computer interfering with...

I'm using my second rig, a Dell Optiplex 745, and everytime me or anybody on the o2 network walks within 4 metres, it starts to make that noise. The nosie you hear in the car when someone calls you and it interferew with the radio. Also, when your within 3 metres your signal is lost. Not even emergency services work. I found that the worst signal is when your near the motherboard.

P.S- This pc has only ever been opened twice in the year i've had it. It never needed changed.

Dose your PC have a Wireless card/ BlueTooth?

Computers do give alot of interference out.
The HD motors have wire coils in the motor and so do the fans.

That can be it.

I find that i can't use a DAB radio near my crappy HP Pavilion.

Thanks for the help^. You were right, it was the fan. Done the old tinfoil trick and my signals fine.
