That's what it sounds like. There's a little wire between your NIC and your motherboard. When you get a command over the 'net, it bypasses everything else and powers up your computer.
Perhaps you could explain your situation a little more? I assumed that you meant the computer was turning itself on when it was off, without you hitting the power button. Obviously that's impossible if you're on BitLord at the time (as the computer would need to be on for you to use BitLord).
I believe one of the bitlord files I was downloading was corrupted or something, and my computer would shut down only when trying to download the file. I deleted it and dl'ing off BitLord now, and it's running fine.
Ok.. now it doesn't auto reboot, instead goes to a blue screen about corrupted files.. I don't give a shit if they're corrupted, I want to play.. anyway to disable this shit?!
