Hello, I am new to this forum, so Hi everyone
.
Anyway, I seem to be experiencing some problems with my computer of late, I have had my computer for around 5-6 years to start off with, and I believe this could be the factor to my problem but I would like a second opinion on the issue.
Sometimes when I boot my computer up I get an error message of a CMOS Checksum Bad message, I see in my BIOS that my date and time and such are not right, so I correct these, and the next day I get the same issue, I currently use AVG and I did a scan and no viruses were found. Although this is not my only issue, my Internet Explorer creates an error message and won't load up, although I use firefox more and every time I load this up now it produces a crash error message, although it was working fine just 2 days ago, although my first checksum bad error message was around 5 days ago. To continue with my issues, my CD/DVD player has issues with playing DVD style games and sometimes crashes when i attempt to play the games or doesn't load them up, although when I use CD's its fine. The dvd games can't be damaged as they work on other systems and also all of them have issues with my computer. My computer has also been running slow of late as well.
Is this the beginning of the end of my beloved machine?
